MDF Sounds was founded by Mike "Dr." Fried, a Nashville-based amp tech and multi-instrumentalist.

His many years of touring and recording with major musical acts (Gary Allan, Wylie & The Wild West, Jamey Johnson, etc.) have given him an uncommon perspective on what the professional musician needs in reliable, great-sounding amplification.

His 20+ years experience inside of amplifiers large and small (some of them at Matchless Amplifiers in L.A.) help to make that a reality for his ever-expanding list of clients.
